Weida Wang

王纬达，常居伦敦的音乐学者、文化产业研究者及表演艺术制作人。他的研究与写作关注中国及全球音乐产业、声音文化与跨文化艺术实践，著有Routledge专著Western Classical Music Industry in 21st-Century China: The Dialectical Crescendo（2025）。近年来，他亦积极参与国际表演艺术制作与文化交流，担任2026年爱丁堡国际艺穗节当代舞蹈剧场作品《聊斋怪谈》（Strange Tales from Liaozhai）英国制作人，并持续推动中国当代表演艺术在英国及欧洲的巡演与合作。

Weida Wang is a London-based musicologist, critic and performing arts producer. His research and writing focus on music and cultural industries in China and globally, sound cultures and transnational artistic practice. He is the author of the Routledge monograph Western Classical Music Industry in 21st-Century China: The Dialectical Crescendo (2025). In recent years, he has also been actively involved in international performing arts production and cultural exchange, serving as UK producer for the contemporary dance-theatre production Strange Tales from Liaozhai at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, while continuing to develop touring opportunities and artistic collaborations for contemporary Chinese performance across the UK and Europe.
