Lucy Cheung is a London-based journalist, musician, and literary translator. She writes in both Chinese and English, contributing artist profiles to The Guardian and penning a music column for Time Out Beijing for several years. Her work spans a variety of artistic fields, covering topics from music to literature. Her published translations include essays by Margaret Atwood and a book on ECM's visual language. Since 2015, she has been writing a column for FT Chinese, among other publications, and is currently translating The Life of Music by Nicholas Kenyon.
